New Zealand regulations require all staircases to have a handrail on at least one side. Handrails are attached to the wall and in some cases attached to or form part of the balustrade.

Steel andtimber are the most common materials used for handrails and they are available in a variety of different profiles.

Please note: We only supply and install handrails for projects where we also supply and install the stairs.
